Handmade with care, this soap combines the healing power of marigold (calendula) oil with moisturising Babassu Oil and Shea Butter to calm irritation, reduce redness, and maintain healthy, hydrated skin.

How to use - Transport yourself to meadows full of flowers…but before you do that, have a wash with our lush Marigold soap bar. Its' creamy texture lathers up instantly. Simply massage in, cleanse and rinse. Combine with our Terracotta pumice stone to leave your skin feeling silky smooth and refreshed.
Careful Now - If the soap or lather gets into your eyes, rinse immediately with water. The soap is not suitable for use if you have open wounds or cuts. All our soaps have been dermatologically tested, however if you experience any irritation or redness, stop using the soap and seek medical help. Keep out of reach of small children. Please avoid in case of any allergies you are aware of already listed in our ingredients below. Always consult your doctor before using essential oils during pregnancy.

Storage - Store in a cool dry place or a well drained soap dish. For best results use this product within 12 months of opening.

Gende-Ka-Phool (Marigold)
Marigold is a flowering plant from the Daisy family. It can grow up to 4 feet tall and produces yellow, orange, maroon or red flower petals. Most types of marigold have a spicy aroma but a citrus taste and are often used in salads or cake decoration and are edible too! The Marigold flower is native to South America, but much loved in India for more than 400 years where it goes by the name Gende Ka Phool or Geyn-day-ka-phool or ‘Garlands of flowers’ (which to be fair, sounds way better!). 100,000 tonnes of Marigold flowers are exported from Madhya Pradesh, India, every year.

Does it dry your skin out? Soaps have a bad reputation for this but this is mostly exclusive to factory produced soap bars that need to use specific ingredients to reduce costs and improve efficiency. At Saabuni, our soap bars are all handmade to avoid dry patches, plus we use Babassu Oil and Almond Oil to help improve skin nourishment.
What results should I expect? I get it - Using new skincare is always a juggle at first because you're so used to one way of doing things. But with consistency, your skin will look and feel better, you've just got to stick with it.
I'm breaking out more than before, why is this? This is good! It means the soap is working. Stay consistent and your skin will start to heal and feel better.

It's all in the science - Marigold is often used in the cosmetic industry for the production of creams and lotions. The benefits for the skin include keeping the skin well moisturised, aiding even skin tone (like patchy skin), slowing premature ageing of the skin (phew!) and reducing inflammation.
Dermatologically tested - All our soaps have been clinically tested in a lab and are dermatologically approved for all skin types including sensitive skin.

Our Essential Oils have been carefully picked for Skin and Self care. Essential Oils included in this product are:
Magnolia Essential Oil originates in ancient Asia and comes from the Magnolia flower which usually blooms on the Magnolia tree every 15 to 30 years. Magnolia promotes peace and harmony, even skin tone, keeps skin radiant and moisturised.
Frankinscense Essential Oil comes from the Baswaluya Carterii tree which can be found in parts of Pakistan and Somalia. It has been found to lift and tighten skin, reversing the signs of ageing. It's also known to keep skin healthy, reducing blemishes and the appearance of large pores. Frankinscense Essential Oil also soothes, nourishes, tones and calms skin.
Ylang Ylang Essential Oil comes from the Kananga tree in Madagascar. It is a natural skin cleanser that boosts the regeneration of skin. It's also well known for regulating oil production of the skin and it's anti ageing properties.
Marigold Oil (also known as Calendula oil) is oil infused with Marigold petals and is well known for it's healing properties.
All Essential oils are known for their anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties.

Our products usually take between 4-5 days to arrive but can take longer at busy periods such as Valentines Day, Ramadhan, Easter or Christmas. During Pre-order, please refer to the product page for details.
Local Delivery
We do offer FREE local delivery for orders being delivered in Blackburn 7 days a week. These deliveries are usually same or next day depending on availability. We also offer local deliveries to Bolton on Saturdays (all day) as long as orders are received before 7pm the Wednesday of that week.
