How to use:

Musabbar (Moo-sub-burrh)
Aloe Vera is a succulent plant from the Asphodelaceae (say that with a straight face) family. It is native to the Arabian Peninsula but has grown wild in India for thousands of years. It can grow stemless up to 40 inches tall and produces thick and fleshy green leaves and large red or yellow pendulous flowers. India exports roughly 11% of the world’s Aloe Vera, making it the 2nd largest exporter in the world. In India, Aloe Vera is referred to as Musabbar, pronounced Moo-sub-burrh - where it is used for medicinal and skin care purposes. In some regions it is also used in curries

Does it dry your skin out? Soaps have a bad reputation for this but this is mostly exclusive to factory produced soap bars that need to use specific ingredients to reduce costs and improve efficiency. At Saabuni, our soap bars are all handmade to avoid dry patches, plus we use Babassu Oil and Almond Oil to help improve skin nourishment.
What results should I expect? I get it - Using new skincare is always a juggle at first because you're so used to one way of doing things. But with consistency, your skin will look and feel better, you've just got to stick with it.
I'm breaking out more than before, why is this? This is good! It means the soap is working. Stay consistent and your skin will start to heal and feel better.

Our Essential Oils have been carefully picked for Skin and Self care. Essential Oils included in this product are:
Magnolia Essential Oil originates in ancient Asia and comes from the Magnolia flower which usually blooms on the Magnolia tree every 15 to 30 years. Magnolia promotes peace and harmony, even skin tone, keeps skin radiant and moisturised.
Frankincense Essential Oil comes from the Boswellia Carterii tree which can be found in parts of Pakistan and Somalia. It has been found to lift and tighten skin, reversing the signs of ageing. It's also known to keep skin healthy, reducing blemishes and the appearance of large pores. Frankincense Essential Oil also soothes, nourishes, tones and calms skin.
Ylang Ylang Essential Oil comes from the Kananga tree in Madagascar. It is a natural skin cleanser that boosts the regeneration of skin. It's also well known for regulating oil production of the skin and it's anti ageing properties.
Aloe Vera Juice and Gel - we have used both in our recipe which is derived from the whole leaf of the plant. Aloe Vera helps to slow premature ageing and locks in moisture, keeping your skin healthy and nourished.
All Essential oils are known for their anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties.
